Sing sailor songs, dance to a calypso beat and make the ocean count! "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! went the waves and then there were four..." Make homemade kites and munch on sea snacks.

PRESCHOOL LITERATURE, MUSIC & CREATIVE PLAY CAMP #1

Knights and dragons, enchanted forests and castles, giants and fair maidens...your child will be inspired by the literature of classic Fairy Tales.  Each day's activities will explore a different Fairy Tale.  Music, art, snack, free play, movement and drama will reinforce the story and concepts, but most importantly, your child will have a great time, will be safe, and will grow and develop through developmentally appropriate experiences. Preschoolers will bring home a portfolio of created materials at the conclusion of the camp. They will have a snack provided for them each day.

INTRO MUSIC & CREATIVE DRAMATICS CAMP

If your child has a flair for the dramatics, then this camp is their big chance! Join us for a very busy and incredibly fun week of reading, learning, memorizing, staging, preparing, and performing a mini-production. Additionally campers will learn respect, team-work, discipline, vocal techniques, characterization skills and so much more. Activities will be based on Muppet characters, storylines and songs. This camp will culminate in a showcase the last 30 minutes the final day of camp.

Come explore your inner super spy and bust a move with the G-Force Team. On this mission, agents will encounter villanous vibrations, mischievous moves and break dancing bad guys! Campers will end the week with a special showcase the last 30 minutes of the final day.

DANCE INTENSIVE CAMP
This camp offers a fast paced, dance workout for dancers who want to keep their skills at top level over the summer. Each session will begin with an instense strength conditioning workout. Campers will then also explore ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop.

AGE:      Completed 6th grade & older

WHEN:   Every Tuesday & Thursday in July (Excludes July 31)

TIME:      6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: APAC - Studio B

ATTIRE:   Modest dance attire. Please bring clean tennis shoes for the workout portion of each session + appropriate

               footwear for each style of dance. If you do not own a certian type of dance shoe...please consult with your dance

               instructor on the first day of camp to determine an appropriate alternative.

MUSICAL PRODUCTION CAMP

Attention all aspiring performers!  How about an opportunity to take your stage skills to a new level?!?  Join us for three weeks as we venture into a full-stage production incorporating both experienced and inexperienced students from all walks of life.  Whether you are a performer and want to be in front of an audience, or you would like to be a part of the technical crew, there is a place for you in this camp.  The first two weeks will be spent, casting, rehearsing, choreographing, and staging the musical, as well as building and preparing set pieces, gathering costumes, developing lighting/sound cues, and other technical aspects that are imperative for creating a quality show. The third week will take place at the Historic Paramount Theatre where all will be staged and rehearsed for the Friday evening production. All Campers Will Be Cast! No Audition or previous experience is required in order to participate in this opportunity of a lifetime!
