For those of you who do not know, APAC has grown so much that we have been in need of a larger space to accommodate our families and students for quite sometime. On March 1, 2008 APAC moved to a 10,000 square foot building located at 1049 Industrial. We are so excited about this journey and wanted everyone to know of this fantastic news. So read on to discover who we are, and know that as you read we continue to grow even more. A larger building will enable our company to expand the opportunities for our currently enrolled families and students and those joining us in the future. The possibilities are endless!!
Abilene
Performing Arts Company, Inc. is a non-profit, youth
centered
organization focused on helping students pursue their
dreams
through performing arts education.
APAC has been offering
classes in Musical Theatre, Theatre, Dance, and Kindermusik
taught by a highly qualified and professional staff since 1999.
APAC is now located
at 1049 Industrial, on the corner of Spindletop and Industrial across from the Abilene Country Club. We are
committed not only
to the fundamentals of performing arts, but we also desire
to see every student grow in ability, creativity, and confidence.
APAC strives to bring together staff, participants, board
members, and audience members from across the region and
across the
socioeconomic and ethnic spectrum as we work with young people
to build self-esteem, confidence, lasting friendships, and
memories. We take great care in ensuring that every student
is challenged and encouraged regardless of age, experience
level, or back ground.
APAC functions as a Performing Arts Academy throughout the
regular school year. Registration begins in August and
our classes begin in September, meeting weekly. We observe
most school holidays and break for summer after our annual
May Show. We do offer summer camps during
June and July and we are always looking for exciting events
that our students
may participate in!
APAC has four unique performing arts programs to choose
from: Musical Theatre, Theatre, Dance, and Kindermusik.
All classes
are grouped according to the age of students, with strong
consideration placed on level of proficiency and ability.
Students are taken
into our programs birth and may study through
adulthood. We offer beginning classes for the novice, as
well as advanced classes for the more serious performer.
Classes
are available five days a week.
